Incident at Oglala - Part 1
Posted October 29, 2007. Repost May 27, 2008: Due to space problems, I have to remove the mp4 file of this film, but it's available via mikschiff@t-online.de. The internet link to the film is http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=387726205259162082 . Leonard Peltier, whose ordeal is described in this brilliant film produced by Robert Redford, has been incarcerated for almost 32 years by now. He was unjustly given two consecutive life sentences for the 1975 murder of two FBI officers. "Incident at Oglala" shows the background to this shameless frame-up of an activist of the American Indian Movement (AIM), who was framed for just that - being an activist for the rights of his people.
