Philadelphia's King of Death Row: Albert F. Sabo
Posted December 28, 2006. The forces campaigning for Mumia Abu-Jamal's execution have now begun disseminating highly questionable statements about Judge Albert F. Sabo being a "fair-minded jurist" who bent over backwards to ensure that Mumia Abu-Jamal's rights during his trial were not violated. This extensive December 1996 article on Sabo by Quixote Center researcher Jane Henderson is still the best one on Sabo and a healthy antidote against much of what is now being bandied around about a man who throughout his career was very much in love with sending people to the gallows.
